Setting up your AmeriHealth Caritas Next account

The member portal is AmeriHealth Caritas Next's member website. It's where you pay your premium, set up autopay, choose your primary care provider, see your ID card and track your claims. Setting it up takes about five minutes. This guide is for Florida plans.

Create your account →
Pay your first premium first. Your coverage becomes official when AmeriHealth Caritas Next receives your first payment, and you don't need an account to make it. Use Pay as Guest with the policyholder's billing account number from the invoice (or the last 4 digits of their Social Security number), their date of birth and their ZIP code.
AmeriHealth Caritas Next changed its billing in September 2026. Invoices now show a new billing account number, new due dates and a new autopay date, and mailed payments go to a new address (below). Always use the account number on your newest invoice. Paying by phone is not available until November 1, 2026, so pay online or by mail until then.
Billing belongs to the policyholder. Only the policyholder (the person the plan is in the name of) sees billing history and account details in the member portal. A spouse, a family member or anyone else can still pay the bill with Pay as Guest using the policyholder's information.

Before you start

The five steps

  1. Open the sign-up page

Go to AmeriHealth Caritas Next's Register page. You can also get there from the login page by selecting Register now.

  2. Enter your member details

Type your member ID (or Social Security number), first name, last name, date of birth and ZIP code, then select Continue. Enter your name exactly as it's printed on your ID card or welcome letter. Where can I find this? shows a sample ID card with the member ID marked.

  3. Set up your user details

Enter the email address you want to use. You'll sign in later with your email or username.

  4. Create your password and security questions

Pick a password and answer the security questions, and write them down somewhere safe. The questions help you get back in if you ever forget your password.

  5. Confirm and log in

Check the confirmation screen. If AmeriHealth Caritas Next emails you to confirm your address, open that email and follow it. Then go to the login page and sign in.

Setting up on your phone instead?

The member portal works in your phone's web browser, so you can follow the same steps there. AmeriHealth Caritas Next also has a free app called ACNX Mobile, with your digital ID card, a provider search and a medicine cabinet with refill reminders.

Get it from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Create your account first, then sign in to the app.

Three things to do next

What you can do once you're registered

  • Pay your premium or set up autopay (policyholder)
  • See your ID card or order a new one
  • Choose or change your primary care provider
  • Find a doctor or pharmacy
  • View your benefits and Summary of Benefits
  • Track claims and Explanations of Benefits
  • See your prescriptions and set refill reminders
  • Sign up for special health programs

Other ways to pay

Pay as Guest (no account)Pay as Guest. Anyone can use it. Have the policyholder's billing account number from the newest invoice (or the last 4 digits of their Social Security number), their date of birth and their ZIP code ready.
Member portalThe policyholder can sign in to see the balance, the monthly premium and pay the bill.
By phoneNot available until November 1, 2026 while AmeriHealth Caritas Next moves to its new payment system.
By mailCheck or money order to AmeriHealth Caritas Next, P.O. Box 302323, Dallas, TX 75303. Send the payment coupon from your invoice with it, or your payment can be delayed. This address is new as of September 1, 2026.

Payments can take 3 to 5 business days to process, so pay a few days before your due date.

If something doesn't work

It can't find you when you registerCheck that your member ID, name and date of birth match your ID card or welcome letter, or try your Social Security number instead of the member ID. If you paid your first premium in the last few days, your plan may not be set up yet. Try again in a few business days.
Pay as Guest can't find the billUse the policyholder's details, not a family member's. Use the account number from the newest invoice (older invoices have the old number), or switch to Last 4 of SSN.
You already have an accountLog in on the login page with your email or username. Don't create a second account.
Forgot your passwordSelect Forgot your password? on the login page.
The Marketplace asked you for documentsSend them to the Health Insurance Marketplace, not to AmeriHealth Caritas Next, and don't miss the deadline, or you could lose the tax credit that lowers your premium. Call me and I'll help you with it.
You moved, or your income or household changedThose changes go through the Marketplace where you enrolled, not through AmeriHealth Caritas Next. Call me and I'll update it for you.
